The number of sessions required differs between individuals and is dependent on aspects such as the nature of concerns, work done outside of sessions, and motivation for change.
I typically recommend booking sessions more frequently in the beginning of your counselling journey to build momentum. This can be weekly, twice a month, or every few weeks.
I understand that external factors, including scheduling and cost, can affect attendance. Therefore, I aim to work with each client to meet their specific needs.

Prior to starting therapy, at the beginning of your first session, we will review confidentiality, including how any information cannot be shared without your written permission. If I suspect abuse or neglect of a vulnerable person such as a child, dependent adult, or elderly person.
If you are at risk of harm to yourself or someone else.
If I receive a court subpoena to access my files.
